Our experience with Richard and Housworth was just plain great. Quick, open, and easy communication plus absolutely solid work defined our time with Housworth. Our main job was a rebuild of the stairs leading to our deck plus some soffit repair. In the first picture you can see the difference in post size used by Housworth versus the original. This is indicative of how robust the work done by Housworth is. The completed stairs are larger, more pleasing to the eye, and more comfortable to walk on. The lights were certainly a nice touch as well. Along the way, all the usual snags encountered during construction were handled quickly and effectively by Richard. Finding a good contractor for home improvement can be a really difficult task, so rest easy knowing you've found a good one in Housworth!

Housworth did an outstanding job replacing an aging deck with new stairs, deck and screened-in porch, as depicted in the accompanying photo. They offered good options for the details of the project and completed it promptly. The supervisory and on-site work staff were courteous and professional - a great group to work with. We were very pleased with the results and would recommend these folks highly.

This was a major deck rebuild and upgrade. Richard and his team at Housworth Construction did an incredible job. To be honest, theirs was not the cheapest bid and I had early thoughts that I was paying too much. However, after seeing the care, the techniques, the experience, and the craftsmanship - I ended up feeling I got a heck of a deal and it was worth every penny. This is a monster of a deck and screen porch. It is solid as a rock and built to last! The entire construction crew was motivated and committed. They were always polite and professional. I can honestly give them my highest recommendations.

We would like to commend Richard and the Housworth Construction team for a job well done. We were looking to have some painting done and our deck refurbished and extended. Richard sat down with us, and we explained what we wanted and he gave us very detailed information as to what they would do and made some suggestions that really improved the final product. The painting was done very well and changed the look of our house but the finished deck went beyond our expectations. It was completed very quickly and the crew that did the work was very courteous and professional and did an amazing job. We could not be happier. We knew exactly what would be happening throughout the project and the overall experience went very smoothly and we could not be happier.
